Bepanthen Protects With BritMums: Gifted

Bepanthen and BritMums emailed us recently asking if we’d participate in their Bepanthen Protects Challenge. All we had to do was use their product for 2 to 3 weeks as part of our daily routine. I’m not going to lie it kind of felt like cheating. I regularly use Bepanthen! However, despite it’s brilliant protective properties I do tend to only use it sporadically. As in once P is showing the signs of a rash.

Helpful Info About nappy Rash And Bepanthen

A newborn’s skin is 40% thinner than an adults, which makes it a lot more sensitive. Especially to wee and poo. Pair that with a tight nappy which doesn’t breathe and often rubs you’ve the perfect environment for bum rash! All pretty basic and quite obvious stuff. What I didn’t know was that Bepanthen has a kind-to-skin formulation:

•Fragrance free

•No colours

•Without preservatives

•No parabens

•No antiseptics

•Provitamin B5 for skin aiding skin repair

All making it a perfect everyday barrier cream.

How To Use

It’s easy really. Simply take a thin layer of ointment and apply it to baby’s clean, dry bottom after each nappy change.

Our Verdict

We’ve been using Bepanthen every day now, with each nappy change for just over a week. I’ve definitely noticed a difference in the fact that I’m no longer having to be reactive to nappy rash. P’s not had a flare up and I think that’s probably because we are being so proactive with being preventative. And to be honest all it’s taken is a blob of cream added to our routine; simple and yet so affective. I’ll keep you updated on my Insta feed as to whether there are any further changes. But for now Penelope’s bum is peachy!

Note: Although I was gifted the Bepanthen used for this challenge I was not paid to participate or to write this article. All information regarding the the properties of this product have been provided by Bayer. However, all personal information on my use of the cream are my own words from my own experience as a mum to an 8 month old baby.

Why note try the #BepanthenProtects challenge for yourself.

Stay peachy,

Berrit x

Aw thank you so much for popping by! We’re due to do another up date… Upping our usage of it to daily has really helped her a lot!

Life saver, we’d been using sudacrem which is also a great barrier cream but bepanthen seems to be a lot more affective at bringing down the redness too!

Glad to her it’s worked well for you. I’ve been very happy with it!
