Top 3: Favourite Cocktails

What are your top 3 favourite cocktails? I’m no Tom Cruise, but I’ve worked my fair share of bar shifts to know how to both mix up a cocktail or two or three. So, here’s my top 3 favourite cocktails for the summer.

Espresso Martini

Top of it’s cocktail class because it packs a kick of wahahay as well as a punch of caffeine. The espresso martini is a cold, coffee-flavored cocktail made with vodka, espresso coffee, coffee liqueur, and sugar syrup. It is not a true martini as it contains neither gin nor vermouth, but honestly who cares; it looks cute and tastes mwah!

To make you’re own you will need:

40ml Vodka

20ml Kahlua

20ml Espresso

Gomme (syrup) or honey

Coffee beans

A cocktail shaker

Take the shots of coffee and mix in a spoonful of syrup. Next pour your sweetened coffee into a shaker along with two shots of vodka and one shot of kahlua with ice. Now pop on some Taylor swift and shake it!

Garnish with some grated chocolate and a couple, ungrounded coffee beans.

It couldn’t be my top 3 favourite cocktails list without mentioning gin! Does anything beat a G&T? Usually I’d say don’t mess with the perfect mix, but it’s amazing what lime and cucumber can do to lift the floral tones of a basic gin mixer.

Drop your top 3 favourite cocktails in the comments below, and remember drink responsibly!
