No Bake: Pudding

When I’m stuck at home with the kids and a to-do list the length of my arm not having to bake is a must. Today has been a long arduous day of survival for me. I’ve an endless list of things that MUST be done. And two small children with an endless need to be fed and entertained. Enter these no bake puddings. Simple and easy to make and adapt to pretty much what ever you have in the fridge. Without having to switch the cooker on. And soft enough to be weaning friendly too!

Ingredients

To make two of these non bake puddings you will need:

•1 Banana

•2 table spoons of strawberry (or your preferred flavour) Nesquik

•2 mini trifle sponges (or biscuits)

•Greek yogurt

Method

•In a small tumbler begin your layering with a single sponge or biscuit. I’ve used the pre-made trifle sponges from Asda

•To the sponge add a layer of sliced banana, I’ve used roughly a third per portion

•For the third level of this mini sundae spoon on some Greek yogurt, until just a fingers width before the top of the glass/cup

•Then sprinkle your Nesquik on top and Voila! Alternatively use sprinkles or jam

The great thing about this no bake desert is that it can be done in under a minute and a large batch can even be prepped and stored in the fridge for emergency pudding rations. Buying you at least five minutes of quiet time.

Enjoy!

  3. I often make myself a glass of greek yoghurt and sliced banana, sometimes also adding jam, so this is my kind of thing! Nobody else in my family will eat it though. Oh well, more for me x #KidsandKreativity
